A cleaning service training programme was conducted for all cleaning staff in NIMH on 4.6.18. This was organized and conducted by MO Public Health and Infection Control Nursing Officers attached to Planning & Development Unit.
The annual NIMH ‘Avurudu Ulela’ was held on 26.4.18. All staff and patients alike participated in the various traditional new year games. This event was presided by officials from the Ministry of Health and the general public.
A lecture on Tuberculosis was conducted on 25.04.2018 at NIMH to commemorate world TB day. The guest lecturer was Dr Lakmal Rathnayake from the National Programme for Tuberculosis Control and Chest Diseases.
