NIMH continues to provide the much needed services to the people through the community outreach programs with the support of the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka. Even attending to clients from isolated areas.
The official Facebook page of NIMH completed 5 years of service. The service provided a glimpse into the working of this national institution as well as engaged in health promotion on key issues in mental health. A special thanks goes to Media Unit of NIMH for the production of images and video for the page.
The NIMH Chatline has within a few weeks surpassed 600 chats. If you have a any mental health problems and would like to text instead of talk please SMS your queries to 1926 from any network.
NIMH Buddhist Association hosted the Sacred Katina Cheewara at NIMH premises for 24 hours on 13th and 14th November linked to the Sri Abhayasumanaramaya Temple.
