In collaboration with Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists the inaugural training session was held on 29th July 2019 for CPN in the ECHO model of E-Learning and Telemedicine. Participants were given an introduction to E-Learning and Telemedicine and then participated in a mock ECHO session. The next stage would be to conduct distant CPN clinics via ECHO.

The training unit of NIMH organized a workshop on ‘how to counsel a person with personality disorders’ for psychological counselors. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Venura Palihawadana, Consultant Psychiatrist at the base hospital, Dambadeniya. Around 85 counselors working in different settings participated in the workshop.
