A medical officer, nursing sister, two nursing officers, three minor employees and 16 volunteers from the hospital are attached to the project,  while Basic Needs provide funds and necessary guidance in addition to human resources.

Through this project 103 patients were relocated to the community and another 15 were placed in jobs with accommodation at a Halfway Home. A sales outlet “Shakthi” was opened in 2006 enabling patients to sell horticulture products to the market. In addition, 180 hospital staff members from different rehabilitation centers and hospitals were trained to start new Horticulture Therapy Units at their institutes and currently there are eight functioning horticulture sub-projects island-wide.
