In Service Training in Management of Covid Positive Psychiatric Patients. NIMH is a Special Treatment Centre for Covid Positive Mental Health Clients from 05.11.2020.
NIMH On Line Zoom Platform created for Medical Officer – Mental Health training. Collaboration between NIMH, Mental Health Directorate of the Ministry of Health and Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists.
A workshop on Mindfulness was organized under the guidance of Dr. Kapila Ranasinghe, Senior Consultant Psychiatrist.
The Information Communication Technology Maintenance Unit of celebrated its one year of service. Close to Rs. 1,000,000/- worth funds saved for the institution by this new and dynamic unit within one year.
NIMH continues to provide the much needed services to the people through the community outreach programs with the support of the Ministry of Health, Sri Lanka. Even attending to clients from isolated areas.
The official Facebook page of NIMH completed 5 years of service. The service provided a glimpse into the working of this national institution as well as engaged in health promotion on key issues in mental health.
