Singer Sri Lanka, in a CSR project, organized a programme to repair the sewing machines used for rehabilitation activities of NIMH in early September 2019. Sewing is a major activity used by Occupational Therapy Department as well as ward-based rehabilitation programmes, as a household activity and a vocational activity.

In collaboration with Sri Lanka College of Psychiatrists the inaugural training session was held on 29th July 2019 for CPN in the ECHO model of E-Learning and Telemedicine. Participants were given an introduction to E-Learning and Telemedicine and then participated in a mock ECHO session. The next stage would be to conduct distant CPN clinics via ECHO.
